Updates to the Shack
Decided to clean things up a little and make the ‘KK4ECR Shack’ more organized, so here is what we have now…:
Full view of the shack
Kenwood TS-2000, Tokyo Hi-Power Tuner, Digital Recorder to record radio traffic, iambic key, Colume control for speakers / headset. PWRcheck meter for monitoring power.
Two 24″ monitors, speakers, SignalLink USB, Label printer. LED lighting
Dell Computer to run HRD, FLDigi, etc. Digital recorder to record tele/web conferences right from the computer using Skype or Web Conferencing services. Coputer in the bacground runs Echolink for our local ARES repeater and controls the large TV monitor for weather and time. (next photo)
40″ HD TV used to monitor weather in to the Jacksonville area and show time for Local & ZULU time zones.
So, there you have it. The ‘KK4ECR shack’ as it sits now. More to come later as I add a beam antenna and rotor, as well as amp to the shack!
